Bucharest

We are going on a river cruise, ending in Bucharest.  Any suggestions on a private tour guide/company for a trip to Transylvania and the Black Sea?

We used the above company to tour both Bucharest itself and north to Transylvania (Peles castle, Bran Castle and Brasov).  Long day just for Transylvania.  Lots to see and experience in Bucharest.  Great company to deal with and excellent guides and drivers.  Black Sea coast is very doable with the caveat that its about 3 hours each way from Bucharest.

 

We spent 3 years off and on in Romania to include adopting a daughter from a Children's home in 1990.  This company does it right at reasonable rates.  When we returned in 2014 for a river cruise Bucharest-Budapest contacted them for tailored tours.
