How will the potential cruise ship ban in Venice affect Silversea? I understand the ban will be for ‘larger ships’ only. Is this correct?

Hi MBP&020,

Thanks very much for submitting your question. In Italy, sometimes things are not as black and white 🙂 At the moment, Silversea will continue to dock as always in the beautiful historical center of Venice; the small size of our ships is definitely an advantage. We are working with the local authorities to understand which will be the final size limit. But for the time being, it's 90,000 GRTs, which is way bigger than any of our ships.
