Calling all recent Explorer cruisers

Well said divaofdisney! Explorer will always be special to me because she was the first cruise ship I ever sailed. And to everyone who loves Clo, she is great isn't she? She's such a nice warm person, she's the perfect person for the job she has! :D

So......I'm very interested to know why you stopped in Freeport vs. Nassau?? We've been to Nassau three times so Freeport would be a change for us.

 

Thankfully, no excursions have been booked at this port.

 

Any info would be mucho appreciated!

 

That is the question I am still trying to get answered. No one seems to know why we were changed to Freeport. My feelings are the opposite of yours. Have been to Freeport many times, Nassau, just once.

Here is my tip if you end up in Freeport:

Take $5 cab to Lucaya Beach. Walk through the Sheraton, either lay on the beach for free or pay $10 for a chair(pretty lame) and rent a Yamaha Waverunner. The surf was great.

Otherwise, not much of an port stop. In fact, my wife stayed on board!!:)

But, the EOS was great!

Thanks for all the opinions and tips everyone. It seems whether you liked the food or not, everyone agrees the Explorer is a fabulous ship. I can't wait!!:rolleyes:
