In Sitka - Captain's Choice Wildlife Quest and Beach Trek or Ester G??

Has anyone done either of these excursions, and if so, what is the difference between the two? What did you like about these excursions, and/or what did you dislike? Thanks for your help!

We went on the Esther G last summer and really enjoyed it. This is a small boat, and there were only 5 passengers when we went. It is a more personal type tour. Davey brings chocolate chip cookies baked by his wife for the passengers to enjoy. He is a very nice young man, has lived in the area all his life, and is very knowledgeable. We saw lots of puffins and other birds, some sea otters, and quite a few whales. In fact, when it was about time to leave, Davey let us stay longer because the whale activity was just getting good at that point. I would recommend this tour over the one offered by the cruise line.
