Buying an annual GeoBlue policy effective date 8/23/21 When to buy?

Does it matter if I buy the policy today for a 8/23/21 start date or should I wait until closer to the start date?  It looks like with GeobBlue even if purchased today it could be cancelled if need be before the policy start date which would be 8/23/21  I don't think they required any lead time for processing

You may buy the GeoBlue plan now and specify 8/23/21 as the start date.

 

As for the start date, if you are leaving home on 8/24/21, then 8/23/21 will work. However, if you are leaving home on 8/23/21, then pick 8/22/21 as the start date.
