FCC as Credit/Coupon ?

I searched and could not find a definitive answer to this question. Maybe someone who's experienced this can chime in. Thanks in advance!

My explanation and question:

I received a letter from Carnival today saying they have credited my FCC from a cancelled cruise to my upcoming cruise (which is already fully paid for) as a "credit/coupon". Is that the same as OBC?

I dunno, but FCCs do expire so I would ask them about that, also.

Thanks BlerkOne. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and make the call. I've looked at my cruise documents and nothing shows up there.

I call to apply FCC instead of using the online form.  There was no form for the 20% FCC I got on the 1/20/18 Triumph sailing due to missing Progreso after someone was "allegedly" pushed overboard.

 

All of the FCC I have ever received has shown up in the confirmation email under Payments and Credits as Credits/Coupons.  OBC is listed separately after the final payment due date and time.

 

I have never applied FCC to an already paid off cruise, so I am unable to help with that part.

 

When you call, ask for a new confirmation email.

Yes, it will be available as OBC
