docmark Posted September 21, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2021 For those with prior experience, please comment on suite# 930 (Silver Muse), overall rating and noise/motion factors. Also would deck 9 be preferable to decks 10 and 11 for Silver suite selection on Silver Muse. Thanks
cece50 Posted September 22, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2021 (edited) We were on the Muse Sydney to Auckland December 2019 and were on Deck 11 cabin 1107. We booked it because on prior cruises on Seabourn Encore & Ovation ( which have similar cabins & location) were most enjoyable. On the Muse….spectacular. What we loved most about the location….just a few steps (short hallway) to the open deck overlooking the pool & a few steps to Observation Lounge. We love being able to leave our cabin & be in the fresh air & breezes as we walk to our destination on the ship or just for a walk on the walking track. Be forewarned. That the Pizza restaurant is a delicious diversion. We had no issues with ship movement, though crossing the Tasman Sea was unexpectedly smooth. I would also recommend the cabins at pool deck as they have all the amenities of the pool/bar at your fingertips. We experienced no noise at all. We will always try for those decks on any future cruises. On the Seabourn line, We were on the similar deck overlooking the pool and their setup has a longing area and the sea bar right outside the hallway doors. That was spectacular as we felt we had our own half of the ship. May I add that if the weather is not great, you have elevators at both ends of the hall to access any floor on the ship. We always would book pool deck or higher for Silver Suites. The views are lovely from your balcony and those suites are separated from the rest of ship. We love just walking down a few doors to fresh air instead of a long hallway.
