Solo Travellers

Hi, has anybody had recent experience of solo travel on Saga cruises. I am hoping I will not be in an isolated bubble of one for the whole trip. I am on the Christmas cruise for a month and I am starting to worry if this is such a good idea at this time. I am quite independent, but, I do like to meet people.

Hello RD!

We’re pretty sure you’ll be totally fine, and you’ve no need to worry at all!

We recently had 5 nights on Discovery and got to know several people who were sole travellers, and noted that they’d all met other new friends too!

Go along to the quiz, and either get there early so other folks come to sit with you, or don’t have any worries about asking to join others who are already there! You’ll find a regular quiz group will always be there!

Share a table at meal times!! Ideal to meet folks, and then when you bump into them again about the ship you can always say hello!!
Please don’t worry!

You’ll have a fab time!

Regards,

Mr. H

Hi Mr & Mrs H

thank you so much for your kind advice.

I was concerned, in these COVID times, that I might be isolated socially.

But, I am reassured that there will be opportunities to meet meet new people.

kind regards
