Hello all- considering an excursion booked independently on the Lady Lynsey at the Ritz Carlton, but want to make sure we will have enough time to get back and forth. I've never been to St. Thomas so not sure how far they are from each other. Can anyone please share if they know? Thanks

Can you please share your arrival date and port times? There are two ports on St Thomas.

The Ritz is close to the Secret Harbour Resort off Rt 32 about a 20 - 30 minute, $10 - $11 taxi depending on your port. Here is a map of the island -

Nice day on the Lady! 😄

Ok you will be fine wherever you dock. When you book the excursion just let them know your situation so there is no question about the return time.

Some sailing outfits offer to coordinate transportation for you but that may not be the case here. If you grab a taxi on your own many head to Coki first then swing over to Sapphire and Red Hook. Ideally your taxi would be taking the “southern” route and going to Secret Harbor first. But either way you will be fine. Just talk to a taxi coordinator when you disembark and let him know where you are going. There are also “private” taxis…

You can ask the driver if he/she will return, but there will be a taxi or two in the vicinity of the Ritz for resort guests as well…

  • Thanks 1
