Travel insurance pay out?

Hello. We always buy independent travel insurance through Travel Guard whenever we travel. Wondering if anyone has ever used their insurance to be reimbursed if you missed a port. If I am reading my policy correctly, they pay $250 for a missed port. Also, have you been reimbursed if you had to cancel due to a positive COVID test? Any experience with insurance is greatly appreciated!
