$140 isn't bad.  We just paid $180 for far less quality/service in Roatan via the excursion desk...

I booked the Marriott Beach Resort through Rest For a Day. It was fabulous! Great facility, attentive staff, and extremely relaxing. Just what I needed!

It was $139. Shuttle van picked us up at 8 and back up at 1:30. Quick 5 minute ride. Pass included lounger, Wi-Fi, $65 food and beverage credit.

I went  on the Marriott site to look at day passes because we will be in Curaçao in two weeks  and it says the are 75 NAF which is about $41. What am I missing?

So the Riverside Hotel property is actually quite big. There are a few buildings, and four restaurants.

There were quite a few of us checking in for day use. They were sold out last night and had an issue with having rooms for everyone. She told me to come back at 1. I said I booked a day use from 10-4. That wasn’t clear on what showed on her end. She called housekeeping, then told me they didn’t have the room type I requested (king) but had a queen ready and offered a $50 F&B credit. I likely won’t use it, but it was appreciated.

The room is decent. Bathroom a bit small. Hotel seems a bit outdated (minor paint and furniture details, carpet), but popular.

Probably going to take a nap. Flight at 4:55. Boarding at 4:10. Thinking I should get to airport at 3, so I’ll head downstairs and call for an Uber at 2:30.

My email confirmation says checkout 3/14 so I’m curious if they’d actually kick me out at 4…
