Ship Wi-Fi or upgrade through Verizon

Wonder of the Sea's TA , about the covid test times dropping for 2 days to 1 day before we set sail.

 

But since I am here I just did 21 days on Anthem of the Seas and used the Voom and Stream , it was great emails, TEXTING and Wi-Fi calling with out a problem.

 

Can't say the same from a 10 Celebrity cruise  , Wi-Fi calling was blocked as well as texting.  they claimed they only support WhatsUp app which I don't use, they had me download it to use, NO ONE NO ONE in my address book uses that so it was useless.  It actually wanted me to TEXT my friends and tell them to dl that app.  LOL problem was i couldn't text anyone.   Did Celebrity refund my money NO.

Well that stinks! It sounds like they dropped the ball for you.

When I have had streaming wifi on all Royal ships I have always made wifi calling thru Verizon (WiFi calling feature) without ever being refused and always without cost.

Hoping it stays that way with Royal Voom and Stream , always had good luck with that.
