Riveira River Cruise , is purchasing the drinks package worth it please

We are going for a cruise down the Rhône in a month and wondering if purchasing the drinks package is worth it.

Or is it more economical to just buy a bottle of wine each evening.

I understand that even with the package drinks from the bar aren’t included. Though I do believe we get a pre dinner cocktail each evening Foc.

Weve never been with Riviera before only Uniworld and Viking river cruises and wine with meals is included.

As this holiday has been postponed 4 times we want to make the most of it😃

I did ask about bringing bottles on board and paying corkage but that’s a no no, only can drink it in your cabin.
