How far are the gardens from the cruise port? I didn’t get the accessible excursion I wanted with the cruiseline(sold out) so we may need to just book something upon arrival. I don’t need a lift as long as it was a car(no steps). Will there be that sort of thing there?

Its a 45 minute drive, a cab will cost roughly $60 CDN plus tip.  There will be cabs waiting at the cruise port.  

 

However, cabs don't necessarily wait out at the Gardens for return trips, so you might need to arrange with the driver to come back and pick you up.  Or allow extra time to call for a cab.  Don't miss the ship!
