BUMP! What does it mean!

Recommended Posts

Laura,

On these boards to bump means to move a thread to the top of the list. For example if I posted a thread and I had a small amout of responses and the thread went went to page 5 after a few days, I could bump it and move it to the top of the list on page 1. It is just a way to re-introduce a thread. Hope that helps!

When you bump a thread, it means that you are moving it to the top of the page. This is so more people can notice it, as the longer it goes without a response the less likely some people will see it.

So by just replying to a thread causes it to go to the top of the new posts or whatever category it is in. Make sense?:)
