Petrocelli Posted May 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2022 I want to book a dinner at a specialty restaurant, but don't want it to be on a gala night. Can I simply reserve two nights and cancel the one I don't want when I get on board? Thanks!
Florida_gal_50 Posted May 20, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2022 Absolutely. You will get a credit on your account for that. Just as an aside gala now dressy nights are nothing special food wise in my opinion.

I have looked at a couple gala night menus (on threads on this forum). It looks like there are a couple special dishes (like surf and turf, or crab legs) on gala nights. Nothing amazing, but a couple nicer options. Is that your experience?
vicd1969 Posted May 20, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2022 The Surf and Turf no longer has lobster - it's just shrimp now. Crab Legs are extra cost. But if you're willing to pay the premium, that's fine.

Surf and turf is on the menu on shorter cruises but it’s shrimp. Roger Jett has a good website with current menus. I don’t know how he sleeps. I hope you have a wonderful cruise. It’s a great way to travel!
