Canceled cruise details

I cancelled a cruise and was told that half the fare would be charged back to my credit card and half would be a future cruise credit but the email they sent only said there was a cancellation fee of half the fare so I called back and was assured of the fcc and the charge back so I am confused so what should I do.

I've had the same issue in the past.  The credit card credit for the cash portion comes fairly quickly, but the FCC credit part might take several weeks or a month (or more).  It did come eventually, and nothing will make it quicker than when Princess gets around to processing that transaction.

This is the way it is done. The portion that would be the cancellation penalty will come back to you as a FCC with an expiry date.

watch for it in your cruise personalizer on the princess website.  It usually takes a couple of weeks.
