Rare Alphen Posted May 30, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2022 Holland America requires negative Covid test prior to start of Land portion of Land/Cruise Tour as of now! We are already in Vancouver and starting our HAL Land/Cruis tour the day after tomorrow and were overnight surprised by the policy change from HAL! Please be advised that we have implemented a new requirement and cruisetour guests 2 years of age or older must now produce a negative COVID-19 test at the start of their pre-cruise land tour. The test must be medically observed and can be an antigen test taken within two days of the start of your tour or a PCR test taken within three days of the start of your tour. You will not be able to begin your cruisetour without proof of a negative COVID-19 test. At-home medically observed antigen tests such as https://*****/optumtest are allowed. All guests over 5 years of age must also be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and bring acceptable proof of COVID-19 vaccination to present at cruisetour check-in. Boosters are encouraged for eligible guests. You will also require a negative COVID-19 test to board the ship for the sea portion of your cruisetour, which we will provide at no cost to you. cruiseryyc Posted May 30, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2022 In this age of Covid we all need to be prepared for rules and regulations to change at a moment's notice. You have plenty of time to get testing done in Vancouver and there is lots of information on where to have it done on these boards.
shuyak Posted May 30, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 30, 2022 If you have self test kits, this post is an option.
Freckles1983 Posted May 30, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2022 Does this apply to cruise first land tours as well? Like when we get off the ship (or before) we need to test negative to continue on the land portion? also I hope you are having a great trip!
