Costa Maya Beach Day Recommendation

Our cruise is the Mayan Sol itinerary the first week of August (Bimini and Costa Maya). I've heard rave reviews about Maya Chan but unfortunately they will be closed will we're there. Can anyone recommend a relaxing beach excursion? I have people in my party with mobility issues so I want something very lowkey and relaxing.

Do you want a pay-go or an AI for your party?  

 

For your mobility concerns,  is a wheel chair involved?  Or a walker? The pier is long and the shuttle doesn't always run. Plus a longish hike to the parking lot.  Van taxi probably best bet but not all are able to accommodate a wheelchair.
