This is wrong--or used to be.  You can add the referral link by calling VV with the name and booking number of the person you are linking with.  Or at least that was possible in October, 2022.

The app and the website do not accurately show Loot prior to boarding, but somehow it magically fixes itself when you log onto the on board system.  We were told that it could take up to 18 hours, but it actually took minutes!

Yup this is the case! Did it last week with a couple of people after booking.
