Juneau Excursion

On July 13, Royal Caribbean Serenade of the Seas docks in Juneau at 1:00pm. I'm on an Alaska Tales excursion that leaves at 1:30 pm form the tent on the wooden dock on the water-side of the large red Mt. Robert's Tramway Building. Will I be able to get there on time?

You dock at one of the furthest docks away. They have a free bus but I don't know how soon it will start or if ship will be early or late. It is a 20 min. walk. Maybe cab would work. I would contact Alaska Tales and they may have a solution. I would say with the info you provided it would be sketchy and you would have to be one of the first people off. sightcrr

Thanks. We decided to change the excursion time to 3:30pm. It's a 4.5 hour excursion so they will drop us off at 8:00pm. Ship departs at 9:00pm so we should be fine.

I think you made a smart move. 1 to 330 to do tram & short hike around top tram station if you can see top from lower tram station, locate meeting spot then light lunch to hold you until 8. On the whale trip use video on camera/phone then save as singles to get good breaching.
