PNVA28210 Posted June 28, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2022 I already know it would be great to spend a whole day at KSC. Unfortunately that kind of time is not possible unless we wake up and leave our home at some wild middle of the night time (then a not so great energy level for all of us once we get there). So with a realistic estimated arrival time to the area of around 2pm to KSC and an uncertain if the first week of April 2023 the hours will be 5 or 6pm close (in 2022 they were posted changing to "summer hours" 6pm after the first week of April). I wonder if it would be even worth trying to whirlwind at quick tour through KSC in 4 hours or less. Also, any advice on recommendations of what to see or do first (i.e. do you need to register/sign-up for the bus tour (2hrs)) or see Atlantis first? Besides going to the beach or jetty park what other ideas has anyone done in the area pre-cruise? I was thinking something like Fan boat ride along the marsh areas and/or the intercoastal. Thank you for some ideas and thoughts.
FreestyleNovice Posted July 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2022 That's very limited time. The bus tour is a cue you line up for, near the Atlantis building. But also note this from the KSC site: LAST BUS TOUR RUNS 2.5 HOURS BEFORE PARK CLOSURE.
