upgrade in amenities - Amsterdam

The HAL brochure says all staterooms will be upgraded to flat panel tvs and Euro-top beds by the end of 2006. Anyone know where the Amsterdam is in this process? I am sailing in May - just curious. Also, does HAL rent/loan dvds as they have dvd players in the room?

It's completed, we just got off her earlier this month from a fantastic South Pacific explorer cuise of 30 days. The beds are wonderful, the flat screen TV's and DVD's are quite nice. They rent DVD's in the Explorers lounge for $3.00 each. They have quite a playlist which does NOT include, Titanic or The Poseiden Adventure ( we checked ).
