Final Balance issue

Just wanted to share my experience with trying to pay off my final balance.  

I wanted to pay off June 22 for final balance due July 11. Online stated $1300.  Credit card declined, tried over the phone electronic payment where the quote was $911.79. Again credit card refused.  Transfer to live agent who informed me no balance due. Asked for email receipt which had balance of $886.68. Informed it's an IT issue, a system issue, sent to resolution team, call back 2 days, then call back 5 days, they will extend final balance due from July 11 to July 15. Call back July 11. Still not resolved. Issue will be escalated!!! Call back July 15. And during all this, my vacation protection plan was deleted, so having to call to have this replaced and I had to pay for that.  Then apparently when I used OBC for 2 shore excursions....there was an error & I didn't have OBC to cover, so I had to call for payment. What a mess.

😠 I'd be so mad. Sorry that happened to you. I hope their extension of your final payment date doesn't cause you any trouble. I've read stories of people's reservations getting cancelled and then the room being sold to someone else. I'd actually be freakin' pissed. What a waste of time having to be on the phone and keep on top of them.
