Question about Celebrity Summit

When we board are we allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine per person aboard at embarkation?

I called Celebrity to confirm and was told we are allowed to bring 2 bottles of winr per adult.  The representative di say it should be in your carryon.  If it is in your checked bags, it may be confiscated.

Agree with putting the wine in a carryon. The wine won't be confiscated (unless you are over the allowed amount) if packed in the checked suitcase. The suitcase won't be delivered to the stateroom but held in the naughty room. The person will need to go to the naughty room to open their luggage to show security it's a bottle or how many bottles of wine. Then it's that persons responsibility to schlep their luggage to their stateroom.
