Getting to Plage de Palombaggia from Ajaccio

I have searched here and on TA but have not found any recent and updated info for transportation to get the beach area of Palombaggia. Any insights from fellow cruisers?

Easiest way to find that info is usually to go to the Rome2Rio website which I just did.

 

Unless there is another option, there are only two ways.

 

Bus is over 3 hours each way,

By car/taxi is showing over 2 hours.

 

Other websites came up in results for "getting to Palombaggia beach  from Ajaccio" and one showed the distance as being aqround 144 kilometres, so I don't think many fellow cruiers would reply with info on their personal experience as most would be unwilling to travel that far.

 

It is a long way to go to a beach on a port day as you will spend a good part of the day just getting there and back again, so it must be really special for you to be willing to make that much effort.

Rent a car!  But you also need a long port day since the drive could easily take you 6 hours (round trip).  On the other hand, you could walk from the pier to the beach (located right in Ajaccio) in less than 10 minutes :).
