Shore excursions in Israel - Ashdod

since celebrity apex is all sold out on popular excursions in Jerusalem are there companies in the port, upon our arrival that we can arrange tours with. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

You really need to make arrangements ahead of time. You won't find tour companies outside the terminal like in the Caribbean. Check out GuidedToursIsrael.com.  I used them in 2019 for three days. They do separate one day excursions from Ashdod and Haifa.
