Upcoming Volendam cruise

Is anyone booked on an upcoming cruise on the Volendam that is worried that Holland America might further extend their current contract to house refugees?  I saw that for previously canceled cruises that they’ll rebook you but I’m guessing you’re on your own with rebooking anything else like flights?

We are still considering one in November but we have decided to wait and see what happens. The decision was probably easier for us than most. There are lots of suitable cabins available. No flights would be involved. Plus, there are a number of other November cruises that have plenty of availability. We will decide in September after the Volendam is expected to resume sailing.

I’m hoping that any decision to extend would be announced in the next couple of weeks from looking at the timing of the last announcement.

FWIW, I saw this on another thread and it should put anyone’s mind at ease who was not already aware.  It’s actually 4 weeks old at this point.  Definitely makes me feel better after reading it.
