IWasBornOnAPirateShip Posted August 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2022 Greetings MSC Cruisers! I have a question regarding what to expect on a Northern Europe cruise with MSC, specifically looking at a 15 day departure from Hamburg in June of next year. We did a seven day cruise around the western Med in October 2019, and while we liked the ship itself, it was very "busy" with kids, far more than you'd find on a typical American cruise line other than Disney. We want something more peaceful, and were wondering if the Northern Europe itineraries are quieter, hoping for something more like you'd find on an Alaska cruise. Anybody have experience they can share?
Bobblehat71 Posted August 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2022 (edited) You're best bet is to do a quick search for the school term times in Germany , italy etc. eg. the UK school holidays start at the end of July and run to the beginning of September. I would think June cruises should be generally Kid free. Edited August 18, 2022 by Bobblehat71

As a side note, it would have been great to grow up in Italy - over three months off in the summer!
