Price Increase

Does it mean anything when the price of the cruise increases? I just checked and the rates are up $125 from what they were when we booked in February.

It usually means there has been a great response for that date and there aren't many cabins left.

I notice that you have quite a bit of time left before you sail. The prices of the cruises fluctuate a LOT. Your particular cruise may have price drops between now and your sail date especially if Carnival has one of their "one day sales' between now and then. Keep and eye on the prices JUST IN CASE the price of yours does decrease. You may be able to get yourself an upgrade or ship credit. It doesn't hurt to keep track and it doesn't hurt to ask.

I just checked it and it's up over $200.
per person. WOW am I glad I do things early!

I know with my first cruise, by the time we sailed, our cruise price was way, way up. I figured that might mean that the ship was very full and that our chances of being upgraded were slim. I was pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded from an inside cabin to an outside cabin! I noticed with the second cruise that the price went way up and then right before the sailing it dropped. It's hard to tell what all the price flucuations mean.

We booked our Victory cruise that we just returned from in late December of last year. The prices never did drop, but rather increased incrementally, then about the last month, they skyrocketed! Glad we booked when we did!
