Has anyone does 3 per cabin on VV?

My daughter and her 2 gf's sailed 3 in a seaterrace for their college grad trip.  They did not use the drop down bunk, but instead had a 3rd mattress added as an L to the king.   The 3rd mattress goes ontop of that white base in the attached picture above. I did not take a picture of their room, as it was always kind of tight and messy when getting ready in the evenings, (sometimes one girl would come to our room to do her make up) but they made it work.

We had 3 in a sea terrace with a bed that drops out of the roof. We had plenty of room except when it was down. This wasn't a problem as they put it back up when we went for breakfast and lowered it when we went for our evening meal.

 

n.b. have a look at the cost of 1 person in 3 rooms vs 3 people in 1 rooms, with the current promo it might be cheaper.
