Barcelona to Rome via Greek islands and Athens Pcr query

I am going on the epic from Barcelona on a 11 day cruise in October this year. We disembark in Rome.

I know the requirements for spain and Italy  - all good.

Now, if the cruise commences in Greece then negative test is required and needs to be within 3 days. Again all good.

a Ncl rep in Australia has suggested we will still need a negative test to visit Greek ports on our itinerary, and that the ship can arrange this. Given that the first Greek port of call is 7 days after we leave Barcelona, this would mean that the whole ship would need testing.

that doesn’t sound feasible or correct to me.

Is there anyone who has recently returned from a med cruise who could advise or she’d some light on this situation.

thanks in advance
