Poker players on recent cruises

Do RCI still offer “free” cruises as prizes in poker tournaments on board? 
Are all games with live dealers or are they still using Poker Pro in some of the casinos.

My next cruise is a TA on the Jewel later this month.

The RCI app may list specials in the casino -look at the current sailing to see if there are any. Also, you might ask in a current Roll Call thread - what other ships do in the casino may not apply to Jewel.

On Anthem in June no prizes and more annoyingly the money you spend on Texas Hold-em does not count towards casino points.  Yes it was a live dealer too.  Going on Wonder on Sunday 9th October so will give you an update on their poker.

My last cruise was on Oasis of the Seas in April and they had a pretty good cash game with a live dealer. Looked like lots of fish at the table just playing for fun. It was 2/5 NL. I didn't get in the game because there was a waitlist for seats and my ADHD in a casino and on a cruise doesn't allow me to sit and wait.

I can't speak on free cruise as a prize in tourny but do know they had a tournament one day. I didn't go because it was during day. Hope this helps.
