Missus Makkem Posted October 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2022 Is terminal 1 El-Prat Airport linked to the city by high speed train
Rare VMax1700 Posted October 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2022 Not a high speed (AVE) train, but regular RNFE stock. 3 stations on the way to the City. Also the airport station is at Terminal 2B so it is necessary to take a shuttle bus from T1 to T2B. https://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/airport/barcelona-airport-transport.html Better to take the Aerobus or a taxi (fixed fare).
Rysyonok Posted October 29, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2022 It all depends on where your hotel is as city might be too broad of an area. Like @VMax1700 had linked, there are buses, metro, trains. The airport is barely 3 miles from the city center: there's nowhere for the high-speed train to fit as the city is so close. That's Barcelona, because... ...just to clarify, you aren't one of unlucky souls with boarding in Tarragona, are you?

It was easy traveling by train to Tarragona ....amazing Roman ruins and amphitheater! 🤓
