Uber in San Diego

I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to get an Uber when disembarking in San Diego? If so, was it hard to get or did it take a long time before they showed up? Thanks for any info!

It's quick.  We've used Uber many times post-cruise in San Diego.  It's easy to find where to go to wait as you exit the cruise terminal.

I'd recommend you set your pick up location a block or two from the port.  We take a left turn after leaving the port and request the Uber down by the Portside Pier.

RSVP the day before that's what I did in July when we returned on Navigator to San Pedro.

Agreed, the driveway into the port can be congested as is the street.  If mobility isn't an issue pick a spot a short walk away.
