River Tubing

Has anyone been river tubing in Ocho Rios lately? We are scheduled to go next month (December) and wondering how cold the water is? Is it too cool in December? Also, what is the distance between the Blue Hole and the river tubing?

I did it in December a really long time ago, and it was not to cold.  Sorry, I don't know the difference.
