thepeb Posted December 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2022 Hi, My daughter and her family are travelling from UK onto a Caribbean cruise with MSC over Christmas. Her children have had only one vaccination and haven't been able to get the second. Therefore they need to have tests prior to leaving UK however all verifying places are closed on 26th and 27th. They leave on the 27th. Its also to soon now to be able to cancel for future cruise credit. Im sure others with children will be having the same issues. When I have read on MSC it seems to say vaccination status no longer required, but this isn't what my daughter is telling me. Anyone have more info on this please? sidari Posted December 12, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2022 Check the UK Government website which will be up to date, testing is not required for US cruises unless it includes Columbia.
Postcards Posted December 17, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2022 I believe that testing was not required if you are a US citizen. As we are Canadians, we will be required to show a negative test results before boarding. That was my understanding from most recent read of H & S requirements.
