"Coastal Highlights Tour" in Cabo (through Celebrity)

The friend I'm traveling with at the end of the month on Solstice for the "Mexican Riviera" cruise is interested in us doing the "Coastal Highlights Tour" in Cabo.  This would be a Celebrity excursion.  Does anyone have any feedback on this one?

If it’s the one where you go on a large catamaran and cruise the coast we do it every year 

 

The one we do includes free drinks and snacks and they have music 

 

We’ve gotten lucky and saw whales each year and the captain will follow them around

You'd think that by the name of excursion, wouldn't you?  But this one uses busses.  Personally, I'm not interested in doing any shopping or eating/drinking in Cabo, so I hope that's not the majority of the excursion time.
