Guarantee Rate Booked with Dawn?

We just booked the Dawn for a May sailing. Our TA told us it was a guarantee rate category K.

 

What does this mean? Is there a possibility of an upgrade from the category K cabins?

 

This is the first we have booked a cruise so close to the sailing. Usually, we know our cabin number when we book.

I means the lowest catagory you will end up in is K. You could end up in an inside on a higher deck or one of the K cabins.
