It is exciting.  I always look forward to see what they offer.  I do find sometimes that it differs somewhat from the website, but for the most part it's very similar.

 

However, we did find for our January cruise the excursions were more expensive than what we were expecting.  But If you see something interesting, it's always worthwhile to check out private excursions to compare costs.  Also, we find that private excursions are usually (but not always) more in-depth and you get to see more because there is less waiting around.
