Cruising Princess Posted May 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2023 I am considering booking a cruise on the Insignia. However the only Penthouse cabins left are those designated as Connecting Room. Does anyone have any pictures showing the location of the door between cabins? And have you had any noise issues because of the shared door? I appreciate your feedback. mjox32 Posted May 2, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2023 (edited) We just got off Insignia last month after a 32 day cruise in a connecting cabin - not a penthouse. We could hear the couple next door every morning and night. Cough, blow their nose, cough some more. I swear they were sick but I never really seen them. We could hear them talk and only if we were sitting on the couch could we make out what they were saying. Also, if they were up later than we were you could see the light coming through the frame of the door. We were a guarantee on a waitlisted cruise so we took whatever they gave us - happily.
