My parents are going on a New England cruise with American CL next month and my Mom is wondering if they have bar soaps or if they have bottles of shower gel in the bathrooms.  Anyone know?

Both.  At the sink they stock the usual trio of shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner.  But there's also a bar of soap.  It's not big, but is large enough to last the two of us a week.

I usually pack my own bar of soap when I travel and I'm staying in one place (like a cruise or a resort) for a period of time.  I hate getting the small bars of soap that virtually disappear after you use them twice.  And I can't stand the shampoo or gel dispensers.

 

Plus, you'll have your favorite brand with you.  Sometimes that is important too, if you have sensitive skin.
