Sitka on a Sunday

Happy Saturday!!

I’ve read the Sitka buses do not run on Sundays. In my planning I didn’t realize that. We were just going to take the bus to The Fortress of the Bear then go to the Raptor Center and Totem Park.

We will be there next Sunday!!! I am beyond excited!!

Should I just bite the bullet and book a ship excursion or will there be tours available at the dock?

I wasn't there on a Sunday but there were a ton of private tours where the ship docked. And then more tours when we took the shuttle into town.

sitka tours sells shuttle tickets at the dock. $20 round trip to those locations. they shoudl run days the ship is in port. you then catch the bus in harrigan hall. pay your own admission.

you can walk back from raptor center through totem park.
