Disembark Vancouver - how hard to get to Abbotsford Airport (Uber or ...)?

Hi, when we disembark in Vancouver, we have options to fly out from Vancouver International or Abbotsford International, with the later being much cheaper (by about $600). The cruise line does not offer transfers to Abbotsford, so I guess we would be looking at using Uber. Has anyone done this and would you do it that way again? Online it looks to be about 1 hour distance and approx. less than $100. TIA

I would be asking this on the West Coast Departures board or the Canada (Pacific) board. Not here or the Cruise Air board.

The Abbotsford Airport is a smaller airport about an hour's drive from DT Vancouver, on a good day and no snarled traffic.  Vancouver Airport is much closer with less expensive options to get there.  You can either take the Canada Line, Uber, Taxi, or cruiseline transfer.  Your only option to get to Abbotsford would be using Uber.  I would go with YVR.

There is also bus service that operates directly to the Abbotsford airport. There are three companies that provide this transportation. Perhaps their schedules might work?

1. Pacific Western, which operates as Ebus. www.myebus.ca Depart Vancouver Pacific Central station 6:30 a.m. daily, 8:00 a.m. daily, 2:15 p.m. daily, and 3:00 p.m. daily, arriving Abbottsford airport  7:50 a.m., 9:20 a.m., 3:40 p.m., 4:25 p.m., respectively. Fare: 46.82 CAD

2. Rider Express. www.riderexpress.ca Depart Vancouver Pacific Central station 8:15 a.m. daily, 3:00 p.m. Mon Thu only, arriving Abbottsford airport 9:35 a.m., 4:25 p.m., respectively. Fare: 42.85 CAD

3. Mountain Man Mike's Bus Service. www.mountainmanmikes.ca Depart Vancouver Pacific Central station 6:30 a.m. Thu Sun only, arriving Abbottsford airport 8:00 a.m. Fare: 33.00 CAD
