Edinburgh Cruise Link X99

We'll be in Edinburgh on August 3 from 8am-7pm, tendering into South Queensferry.  We get priority tendering so we're usually able to tender off on one of the first tenders but we're wondering what would be the earliest safe time slot to pick for Edinburgh Castle?  We have lots we want to do that day so we'd rather not play it safe and pick say, 11 or noon.  Is 10-10:30 safe?  Just not sure how long to plan to get from the tender dock to the stop nearest the castle.

I asked at the Castle gate a couple of weeks ago.  Timed ticketholders are now allowed in up to 15 minutes before your timeslot, but as long afterwards as you want

So I would buy your earlier slot and if you're late it doesn't matter.
