Limited mobility in Rome

We are staying in Rome a few nights pre-cruise next year. My mom uses a walker to get around. Can anyone recommend hotels that are conveniently located so she can walk to restaurants etc? We will be utilizing taxis but it would be nice to go for short walks. Thank you

Hotels in the immediate area of the Pantheon have plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from, including 2-3 right on the piazza and another one (award-winning) diagonally across from the Pantheon itself.

Another area with plenty of choice is around Campo dei Fiori. Plenty of small local restaurants.

A word of warning though -- in all of the areas in the historic center, there are places (smaller streets, piazzas) where there are cobblestones and no smooth sidewalks. Just be prepared for that.
