Dining Time on Splendida

We have scheduled our first MSC cruise and will be travelling on the Splendida to the Mediterranean out of Trieste May 30, 2024. We are in Bella and I just noticed that we will not be able to schedule which dinner seating we want. Does anyone know what the standard dining times are and which is more popular? We are early to bed, early to rise people so if it is more likely that we will be assigned a late seating in the MDR, we will just have to prepare ourselves for a buffet only dinner experience which is unfortunate since we really enjoy the MDR.

Which dining time is most popular really depends on the demographic of the passengers on your sailing. If you've lots of Mediterranean nationalities, they generally prefer late dining. Dining times also vary ship to ship. On our last Mediterranean cruise in April dining was 6.30pm and 9.00pm.

If you're unhappy with your assigned dining time you can attend your MDR and ask to change. They're no guarantees but they'll accommodate if they can.
