Substitutions in MDR on Preziosa

We leave in a month for our second MSC cruise. This time, we are going to Northern Europe. Last year I was footloose and fancy free in the Mediterranean on Splendida but this year… I have diabetes 🥺.

I’m not on insulin and really have to be careful with what I’m eating. Pasta and potatoes are a no-go. I’m wondering if any of you have substituted things on the menu for dietary reasons? I hate eating in buffets so please don’t suggest that as my alternative. 🙂

Thanks for your help!

Have you completed the medical/dietary requirements form? That would probably aid you and I'd also speak to the Maitre D once your onboard and assigned your restaurant.

I'm sure I've swapped items from meals but only occasionally. You can certainly order extra vegetables as a side dish with each meal, if you want to supplement them for potatoes.
