Don't know where you are but most dive shops wil have "Reef Friendly Sunscreen". If you can't find it at home and are arriving a day early for departure you will be able to find it at a drugstore near the port (at least in the south).

Am I crazy, or did I read somewhere on the boards that certain beaches will not allow you to use sunscreen unless it's biodegradable? I have searched and searched on the Ports of Call boards for each port we'll be in, and I cannot find it again. We'll be in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Belize. My Roll Call people think I'm nuts, but I KNOW I read it somewhere. They talked about having to purchase the special biodegradable sunscreen after employees of the beach came out and asked them not to use regular sunscreen. :confused:

We were told we could not use sunblock when we were snorkeling at Dzul Ha last summer.

You can't use regular sunscreen at Xcaret. They give you little sample sizes to use. I looked all over for biodegradable sunscreen and could only get it when I got to Cancun.
