I 'm looking for a beach other than Paradise. Was reading about Paradise beach...the water being rocky and merky. I need a beach with a sandy bottom and crystal clear, and I don't like not see what's swimming around me. Also, looking for some activities for a 13 year old boy to do...waverunner w/ his dad or something.

Thanks,;)

The water clarity at ALL the beach clubs is dependent on the weather conditions. Strong winds will make the water "murky" at all the west side clubs. I've been to PB when the wind was calm and the water is quite clear.

As for "rocky", it isn't really rocks, it is broken coral and shells, and it is for only the first 10-15 feet of so. After that, it is nice sand. I know that they have sifted lots of the sand to remove the big chunks.

I personally don't think you'll find a nicer beach for your 13 y/o. than PB.
